LumaRoof LLC (“LumaRoof,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through www.lumaroof.com (the “Site”) and how we use it.

Information we collect

  • Information you give us: name, address, phone number, email, the services you’re interested in, home ownership, approximate electric bill, and anything else you enter in our forms or send us.
  • Automatically collected: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page and date/time of visit, collected through cookies and similar technologies (including by our website platform, Squarespace, and analytics tools).
  • Consent records: when you submit a form, we keep a record of the consent language shown, your selections, and the date and time, to document your choices.

How we use your information

  • To respond to your request, prepare quotes, schedule consultations, and coordinate your project with our installation partners.
  • To contact you by phone and email and — only if you have given separate consent — by calls and text messages that may use an automatic telephone dialing system, an artificial or prerecorded voice, or AI-generated voice technology.
  • To operate, secure and improve the Site.
  • To comply with the law and protect our rights.

How we share your information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Service providers that help us run our business (website hosting, customer relationship management, calling and texting platforms, email), who may use it only to perform services for us.
  • Licensed installation partners, when you choose to move forward with a project, so they can prepare your contract and perform the work. They may not use your information to market to you.
  • Government authorities when required by law, or a successor in connection with a merger, sale or reorganization of our business.

Text messaging and mobile information

LumaRoof LLC sends two types of text messages, each only with its own separate consent:

  • Marketing messages — promotional offers, savings updates and information about solar, battery storage and roofing products and services. If you opt in to marketing, we may also contact you by calls using an automatic telephone dialing system, an artificial or prerecorded voice, or AI-generated voice technology.
  • Transactional messages — messages about your quote request, appointment scheduling and reminders, and project updates.

Consent to one type does not mean consent to the other, and consent to either is never a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except with service providers that deliver our messages on our behalf. See our SMS Terms.

Your choices

  • Calls and texts: reply STOP to any text message, tell us during a call, or email mark@lumaroof.com. You may revoke consent by any reasonable means, and we will honor your request promptly.
  • Email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or contact us.
  • Cookies: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
  • Access, correction and deletion: email mark@lumaroof.com. Depending on where you live (including New Jersey), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your personal data, and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale or profiling. We will respond to verified requests as required by applicable law, and you may appeal a decision by replying to our response.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Retention

We keep information for as long as needed for the purposes described above, including keeping consent records for at least five years to meet our legal obligations.

Children

The Site is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it was last revised.
